I liked Lebron. I really did. But what he did Thursday night and how he went about it made me lose a lot of respect for him. And I’m pretty sure I’m not alone. I have never seen so much self-promoting, self righteousness, so much talking about yourself in the third person as the King did that night. Jordan would have never done that. Kobe would have never done that. No great athlete would have ever done that. Jordan would have never went to a team with Kobe and vice versa. Great athletes need the challenge. Apparently Lebron just wants to make it as easy as possible. I guess we’ll all have to sit back and witness what happens. After all that’s what Lebron wants. To be witnessed and for people to want to witness him. Why else would he ask for an hour long TV special for his decision…
